Commitment to Compliance and Acting Ethically
At Avadel, we are determined to ensure that our businesses operates in an ethical, sound and responsible manner. We have an obligation to all of our stakeholders, particularly our patients and health care programs, as well as our shareholders, to ensure our business is conducted with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all laws, regulations, codes and policies applicable to our company and our industry. Integrity, honesty, forthrightness, and fairness are of primary importance in all business conduct involving the company. Avadel expects each director, officer, and employee to perform his or her duties in such a manner as to continue to prove Avadel’s good name and reputation.
Avadel has a Code of Business Conduct and Ethics applicable to all directors, officers, and employees of the company, including those contractual relationships acting as an extension of the company. Third parties are also informed and encouraged to comply with all relevant standards described in the code. All directors, officers, and employees of the company are furthermore subject to comply with applicable departmental laws, regulations, codes, and policies. Senior Financial Officers are also bound by a separate Financial Integrity Policy.
Avadel has established a Tell Avadel Compliance Reporting Program, whereby internal communication is always encouraged. However, Avadel has also partnered with an independent company InTouch®, to serve as a means to report any matters of noncompliance or unethical behavior, where permitted under local law, confidentially and anonymously.
